Remote monitoring and response

A 24-hour control room that does not just receive the signal, but acts on it.

Remote monitoring and response

An alarm on its own stops nobody.

An alarm panel is only worth something if its signal has consequences. On many sites the siren sounds, the system sends a text message – and from there everything depends on whether somebody wakes up at two in the morning and dares to go in alone to see what happened.

Remote monitoring closes that chain. The signal arrives at a control room staffed around the clock, where a person looks at what happened and a person decides the next step: closing a false alarm, issuing an audio warning, sending a patrol, or calling the authorities.

Remote monitoring and response

  1. 01

    We connect the existing system

Most modern alarm and CCTV systems can transmit signals. During the survey we look at what is already installed and what needs to be added to it.

  2. 02

We agree what counts as an event

Not every signal is an alarm. Together we write down what requires immediate action, what can simply be reported in the morning, and who has to be notified in each case.

  3. 03

The control room verifies the signal

Where there are cameras, the operator looks at the live image before starting anything – so a false alarm does not turn into an unnecessary call-out and unnecessary cost.

  4. 04

    We respond to genuine alarms

A patrol is dispatched to the site and, as agreed, we notify your contact person and, if needed, the police or the fire service.

What does the service include?

  • Survey of the existing alarm and CCTV system and preparing it for signal transmission
  • Transmission unit with a redundant (mobile network) connection
  • Our own control room, staffed day and night, every day of the year
  • Video verification of alarms on live images where cameras are installed
  • Response patrol and an escalation list agreed with you
  • Monthly event and call-out report for the client

What can you expect?

The signal has consequences

The alarm is not noticed by whoever happens to wake up – but by the control room whose job it is.

Fewer pointless call-outs

Video verification filters out false signals, so response is kept for genuine events.

Traceable operation

Every signal, check and action is logged, and can be reviewed in a monthly summary.

Frequently asked questions

01 Can it be connected to my existing alarm?

Most modern alarm panels are capable of signal transmission. During the survey we check the type and condition, and tell you whether connecting, extending or replacing it is the economical option.

02 What happens with a false alarm?

Where there are cameras, the operator looks at the image first and closes the alert if nothing is happening – without a call-out. Without cameras, the agreed escalation list decides, which we write down together when the contract is signed.

03 What if the internet or the power fails?

The transmission unit can also connect over the mobile network and keeps running on battery. The control room treats a lost connection as an alert in itself, so sudden silence does not go unnoticed either.
