Intruder alarm systems · AX PRO

An alarm on its own is just noise. What matters is what happens next.

Intruder alarm systems · AX PRO

A signal is only worth something if someone responds to it.

On many sites the alarm bothers the neighbours rather than the intruder: it sounds for a while, and then someone goes out to check, or nobody does. Without monitoring and a response unit behind it, the system only makes noise.

Wireless technology (AX PRO) has improved this a great deal: it installs quickly, expands easily and needs no channelling into walls – so it can go where that used to be an obstacle.

  1. 01

We go through the points to protect

Doors and windows, monitored spaces, plant rooms, safes and server rooms each call for a different detector.

  2. 02

    We install a wireless system

AX PRO devices mount quickly without breaking walls and can be extended later.

  3. 03

We fit arming to real life

Partial arming, scheduling and user rights – so the system gets used, not just owned.

  4. 04

    We connect it to monitoring

The signal reaches the control room, where it is verified immediately and a unit is dispatched if needed.

What does the service include?

  • On-site survey and system design
  • Wireless alarm panel and detectors
  • Door, motion, glass-break and smoke detection
  • Mobile app for arming and status
  • Connection to 24/7 monitoring with response
  • Annual maintenance and battery replacement

What can you expect?

Fast installation

A wireless system can be fitted during normal operation, without breaking walls.

Fewer false alarms

Well-configured detection and filtering mean an alert actually means something.

A real response

Behind the alarm there is a control room and a response unit – not just a siren.

What an alarm system is made of

Not every site needs the same set-up. At the free survey we determine which devices your site actually needs.

Control panel

  • The brain of the system: every detector reports here.
  • Wireless, so it can be installed while the site keeps running.
  • Keeps working during a power cut or a loss of internet.

Siren

  • Loud warning inside and out, with a flashing light.
  • Most intruders leave the site within the first minute.
  • Has its own battery: it sounds even if torn off the wall.

PIR motion detector

  • Senses the body heat of a person moving in the room.
  • For indoor use: offices, corridors, stores, changing rooms.
  • The filtered version ignores smaller animals.

PIR + MW dual detector

  • Watches on two different principles: heat and movement.
  • Alarms only when both agree – far fewer false alarms.
  • For halls, draughty and sunlit spaces, and for outdoors.

PIR cam detector

  • A motion detector with a built-in camera.
  • On an alarm it also sends an image, so the control room sees what set it off.
  • False alarms are ruled out at once, with no needless call-out.

Door and window contact

  • Can be fitted to doors, windows, cabinets and gates.
  • Reports the moment the opening moves.
  • Works with partial arming too: it guards closed areas during a shift.

Glass break detector

  • Recognises the sound of breaking glass.
  • Alarms as the break happens, not when someone steps in.
  • One detector can cover several openings.

Smoke detector

  • Warns of fire before it turns into serious damage.
  • Through the alarm panel it reports at night and during shutdowns too.
  • With remote monitoring, help is sent even when nobody is on site.

CO detector

  • Detects carbon monoxide - an odourless, poisonous gas.
  • Recommended near boiler rooms, gas-fired equipment and forklift charging bays.
  • A person cannot notice this gas unaided; in a closed space that is life-threatening.

Temperature and humidity sensor

  • Measures the temperature and the humidity of the air.
  • Warns when frost threatens an unheated hall or a pipe run.
  • It also flags persistently damp air, protecting both goods and equipment.

Key fob

  • Fits on a keyring: one button arms, another disarms.
  • A separate panic button calls for help instantly.
  • No code to type at the entrance, not even at the start of a shift.

Mobile app

  • See from anywhere whether the system is armed.
  • A notification on your phone for every event.
  • Arm it remotely, and give shift supervisors their own access.

Frequently asked questions

01 How disruptive is the installation?

With wireless detectors it can be done in most places without opening up walls, and outside working hours if needed. On larger sites we work in phases so that production does not stop.

02 How can false alarms be avoided?

The type and placement of the detector is the key – pet-, draught- and light-tolerant solutions – plus partial arming: the system only watches what needs watching at that moment.

03 Does an alarm work on its own?

Yes, but it delivers most together with remote monitoring: there the signal has consequences, not just a sound.
