Manned guarding

Where human presence is indispensable – but still verifiable.

Manned guarding

There are things a camera simply cannot do.

Opening a gate, dealing with a driver, receiving a visitor, judging an unexpected situation, or simply deterring by being there – these are human tasks. Where they occur daily, guards are not a cost but part of how the site works.

The question is not whether guards are needed, but where and when. We answer that by measurement – and where guards remain, we make sure their work is not only done but also visible.

Manned guarding

  1. 01

    We define the real job

Gatehouse, reception, patrolling or loading supervision each call for different skills and numbers.

  2. 02

    We provide a stable team

Not a rotating cast of faces: a trained crew that knows the site, with a defined cover arrangement.

  3. 03

    We manage shifts digitally

Check-in, handover, patrol round and event – all in the system, to the minute.

  4. 04

    We check regularly

Supervisor inspections and review: the client receives data, not a verbal account.

Frequently asked questions

01 How many guards does a site need?

This depends on the size of the site, its operation, its traffic and the tasks required. During the survey we review, among other things, access control, patrolling, camera monitoring, key management and the critical points, and on that basis we propose the appropriate staffing level and operating order.

02 How can the guards' work be verified?

The duties and events of the service can be documented digitally. Patrols, specified checks, key-management events and other data needed for the service can be retrieved according to the access rights and data-processing rules defined by the client. We process only the data necessary to deliver the service, with regard to the applicable data-protection requirements.

03 How quickly can the service be started?

This depends primarily on the staffing required and the complexity of the task. After the survey we design the service structure, select and prepare the staff, and start the service at the agreed time.

04 What happens if a guard drops out of the service?

Handling expected and unexpected absences is part of service planning. In the event of illness, leave or other obstacles we strive to ensure the continuity of the service with a suitable replacement.

05 What tasks can we entrust to the guard?

Tasks are always tailored to the operation of the site and the applicable legislation. These may include, for example, access control for persons and vehicles, receiving visitors, patrolling, monitoring camera images, key management, checking shipments, administration and handling extraordinary events. Tasks that involve the processing of personal data are always set up in line with the client's data-processing rules and the legal basis of the processing concerned.

06 How are daily events and checks documented?

Events relevant to the service can be documented in a digital system. The scope, access and retention of the recorded data are tailored to the tasks of the site and to the client's data-processing rules. This gives the client a verifiable picture of the service tasks performed without more data being processed than necessary.

07 Can guarding costs be reduced by involving technology?

In many cases, yes. Certain monitoring and checking tasks can be supported by technology: a camera system, video analytics, remote monitoring, an access-control or alarm system. The specific solution is always designed on the basis of the site's operation, its risks and the applicable data-protection conditions.

08 How much does manned guarding cost?

The price depends on the hours of service, the staffing required, the operation of the site and the tasks to be performed. After the survey we prepare a quote that presents the proposed service model and its costs.
