Access and traffic control

Know who and what came in – without turning the gate into a bottleneck.

The gate decides who and what is inside.

On most sites the gate is the busiest point: employees, contractors, drivers, couriers and visitors arrive, often at the same time and often at peak hours. If every check is done by hand, either the queue grows or the control slips.

And afterwards it turns out that a paper gate log cannot tell you who was on site, when and for how long – which was the whole point.

Access and traffic control

  1. 01

We separate the types of traffic

Employees, contractors, drivers and visitors each need their own route and level of checking.

  2. 02

We automate what can be automated

Licence plate recognition for vehicles, card or code based access for people.

  3. 03

    The gatehouse handles the exceptions

The guard’s time goes where human judgement is genuinely needed, not to waving routine traffic through.

  4. 04

    We log everything

Entries and exits are searchable, exportable and can be cross-checked with camera events.

What does the service include?

  • Design and installation of the access control system

What can you expect?

Faster gate traffic

Routine entry is automatic and the queue disappears even at peak times.

An accurate picture of who is present

You can tell at any moment who is on site – in an emergency that saves lives.

Fewer disputes

Logged data settles the “who let them in” type of argument.

Frequently asked questions

01 What is wrong with a paper visitor book?

It is unusable afterwards: illegible, incomplete, and it cannot quickly answer who was on site at a given hour. When an incident is investigated, that is exactly the question.

02 Can it be extended to external suppliers?

Yes, and that is where it matters most. With pre-registration, temporary permissions and plate recognition, external traffic can be tracked precisely.

03 What about data protection?

Access data is personal data. Introducing it requires a privacy notice, a purpose-bound retention period and a policy – we help with this during the rollout.
